Children’s Trust Fund
Shaken Baby Syndrome is a growing and costly problem. Most everyone knows that shaking can cause permanent injury or death to a child. It’s not enough to say “Don’t do it.” When a supervising adult’s nerves are frayed from a child’s crying, emotions can quickly get out of hand. MediaCross created this public education television spot to provide the adult with acceptable alternative behaviors he can use to defuse his tensions and calm himself without harming the child.
The Children’s Trust Fund of Missouri provides grants to community organizations for child well-being programs and conducts education programs on safe childcare practices. Part of CTF’s funding comes from the sale of its specialty license plate. MediaCross created this spot and operated the CTF license plate program for 8 years. In that time, the CTF plate became the most successful ‘vanity’ license plate in Missouri history.
