Park University in Parkville, Missouri, sought a creative partner to develop engaging traditional student recruitment publications and an email series that would supplement previous brand development and internal teams’ efforts.
MediaCross developed the following to answer their specific challenges: (1) gaps in email communication to seniors after application, and juniors early in the college search process, (2) better and clearer financial aid and scholarship information for a largely first-generation student audience, (3) need for more campus visitors, and (4) desire to focus on building affinity and influencing the final decision for admitted students.
Admission to any university is an important moment for students. To help create a special memory for accepted Park students, MediaCross wrote and designed a web-based interactive survey to learn more about them. The survey gains more insight into the students’ personality and temperament. MediaCross applies each student’s survey results to create a personalized poster that prominently displays the student’s name along with a creative call to action that prompts the student to commit to Park. Themes for the poster ranged from motivational to pop culture to sports. The end result is a unique way to build affinity for Park University and reinforce their choice to attend in the fall.
